FraudShield is a browser extension designed to help users identify potentially fraudulent and unsafe e-commerce websites by analyzing publicly visible security signals. We take user privacy seriously and ensure that no personal data is collected or stored.
The extension only processes URLs that the user explicitly chooses to scan. This data is transmitted securely to our backend service solely for real-time fraud analysis. No user-identifiable information is retained.
FraudShield does not include any analytics, trackers, or ads, and does not create any user profiles.
Permissions requested such as activeTab and host permissions are used only to analyze the currently viewed webpage for security risks and do not monitor activities outside of the user’s request.
